Benefits of Workout
For a very long time, I use to workout just from the fear of getting fat. In those days, I use to eat with fear, run or play with no heart. I use to judge my intensity of workout by the amount I use to sweat. Well! obviously with such a relationship. I use to often feel demotivated and pulled back. Again it was just the fear that got me back!
It was only after I had lost weight and have had slim legs that I realized now I want toned muscular legs. But, was not sure how can I get them. Similarly, with time I realized I want good joint mobility, good strength in my biceps, straight strong abs, good flexibility or range of motion across my joints, agility, power, stamina, peace, glow hump hump hump.. I always wondered; Can workout help me achieve all these things? Which bought me to another important question; What is the significance of doing different types of training? If fitness is all about weight loss and we can easily achieve it with running then why do people go for Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, athletic training etc? All these questions got me to read on different exercise physiology. Gradually, I also started trying different training.
Every exercise bring us more closer to our body. Make us more aware of our joints, improve our work efficiency in our day to day life, make us swift, alert, smart etc. Weight loss is just a natural consequence of different training. So, treat your workout as a sport. Enjoy it like a sportsman. Know what you expect from it and get to it. All hearts 🙂
