I am reading a book by Deepika Padukone’s personal fitness trainer, Abhishek Sharma. He has shared a 20 minutes workout plan which he uses when Deepika is in a hurry and does not have time to workout for 1 hour. The workout is simple, does not require any equipment and has a more holistic approach as it has components of cardio, warm up, stretches, yoga asanas, breathing exercises and cool down.

Before I proceed with the workout, I want to share something worth sharing that he has written. He works with all know hows of entertainment industry and he finds so many people gravely victimized by negativity, insecurity and jealousy. People have lost half of their life feeling miserable about proving themselves to others or about crossing others.

The Body Clock Guide to Better Health

You know when I boarded back home from my pg in Chandigarh, a few months back; I was quite a brat- could not tolerate things for long and spilled my words without a second thought. I used to remain in a continuous irritable state you can say. Mom used to tell me things to improve upon and live healthy but all I replied was “Mom……Please……”

One good thing that always accompanied me was my belief in religion and god. I am used to offering prayers since childhood. One day my mom told me about this body cycle (a little of which is inspired by ayurveda) that our Guru ji used to tell and that I should do things according to it. She explained the benefits like one narrates a story to a five year old. I tried to follow the same and saw a difference in my life like magic. I am the calmest person now, so much so, that even if there is an earthquake on both my right and left, I would not at all scream. :P Also, I have experienced growth in my work, happiness in whatever I do, most importantly my dark circles have reduced by 80% and my stomach has stopped upsetting me now. All this has happened within a week itself. So, in all I have seen my health come running back to me.

It was a long week for me as I was busy attending free health check up camp organised by my hospital. Ohhh! Missed Miss Fit so much :) . My husband says I am so addicted to this blog that I desperately wanted to write an article everyday. You know during last weak, I met many ladies who had a common complaint of foot pain. Some had ankle pain issues and others were having pain in calf muscles too. On evaluation, I found their problems were associated with wearing high heels shoes. Have you heard that song”pehli baat to yea jo tu tik tok tik tok chalti hai, maana ye saari teri HIGH HEELS KI GALTI HAI”, I felt like singing these lines to them ;) but professionaly, I was bounded by few ethics.
